I recognize and acknowledge that volunteering at this race is a potentially hazardous activity. I certify that I am medically able to volunteer and understand that my responsibilities may include but are not limited to; lifting and transport of race equipment, supervising road crossings, assisting participants, setting up and breaking down of equipment including but not limited to tables, canopy tents, camp stoves, etc. I assume any and all risks associated with volunteering at Eastern States 100 including, but not limited to motorized vehicles, falls, other participants, dangerous weather conditions, and irregular road surfaces and terrain. Knowing these facts and in consideration with your acceptance of my volunteer application, I hereby for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release, and discharge Iron Forged Runners LLC and any individual and organization associated with Eastern States 100; local government and police; volunteers, and any and all sponsors, including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting for or on their behalf, from any and all claims of liability for death, personal injury foreseen or unforeseen, known and unknown. The undersigned further grants full permission to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legal purpose. I have read and fully understand the above important information, warning of risk, assumption of risk and waiver and release of all claims, and certify my agreement by checking the box above and submitting my volunteer registration.
