Eastern States 100 Aid Station Data Visualization

Tomás Castillo pooled all the split timings available and made a tool that allows you to put in a finish goal which then gives time estimates (time of day or elapsed) to each aid station.
You can update it with actuals and download it to an excel file, if you feel so inclined. So long as you load the webpage prior to being off grid, it should all work.
There’s no fancy algorithms here (yet), it’s simply taking your goal time, converting that to an overall pace, then based on other people who finished in that same time, what was their average time into different aid stations. It’s not fancy and may be worse than ultrapacer (for now) but it’s based solely on ES100 data.

How to Open the Eastern States 100 Aid Station Data HTML File

The Eastern States 100 Aid Station Dashboard is provided as a compressed .zip file. Before it can be viewed, you'll need to extract the contents and then open the included HTML file in your web browser. Once downloaded, you will not need an internet connection to use the Dashboard

Windows (PC)

  1. Download the .zip file to your computer.

  2. Locate the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder).

  3. Right-click the .zip file and select Extract All...

  4. Choose a location for the extracted files and click Extract.

  5. Open the extracted folder.

  6. Double-click the .html file.

  7. Your default web browser will open and display the Aid Station Data.

macOS

  1. Download the .zip file.

  2. Open your Downloads folder.

  3. Double-click the .zip file. macOS will automatically extract it into a new folder.

  4. Open the extracted folder.

  5. Double-click the .html file.

  6. It will open in your default web browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.).

iPhone & iPad (iOS/iPadOS)

  1. Download the .zip file.

  2. Open the Files app and navigate to the downloaded file.

  3. Tap the .zip file once. iOS will automatically extract it into a folder with the same name.

  4. Open the new folder.

  5. Tap the .html file.

  6. If prompted, choose Safari (or your preferred browser) to open it.

  7. Tip: If the file doesn't open directly, tap the Share button and select Open in Safari or Open with Chrome, if available.

Android

  1. Download the .zip file.

  2. Open the Files or My Files app.

  3. Navigate to the Downloads folder.

  4. Tap the .zip file.

  5. Choose Extract (or Unzip, depending on your device).

  6. Open the extracted folder.

  7. Tap the .html file and choose your preferred web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, etc.).

  8. Note: Some Android devices may require a free file manager app if your phone does not include built-in ZIP extraction.

If the File Doesn't Open

  • Make sure you're opening the HTML file, not the ZIP file.

  • Verify that the ZIP file has been extracted before trying to open the HTML file.

  • If your browser asks whether to open or download the file, choose Open.

  • If you accidentally opened the ZIP file in your browser, go back and extract it first using your device's file manager.
